Baisden Gallery is a premier art gallery that specializes in contemporary studio glass by some of the world’s most prestigious glass artists, along with the finest in paintings and photography. The gallery searches for and represents both well-known and emerging artists whose works show vision, originality, intelligence, beauty and technical prowess.
Occupying over 2000 square feet, the gallery offers a wide choice of art objects due to the unique layout of three individual exhibition spaces. The gallery runs consecutive, rotating exhibitions featuring at least one artist along with numerous others who are nationally and/or internationally recognized. Baisden Gallery has earned a reputation for featuring some of the world’s most esteemed artists, for producing museum caliber exhibitions and for showcasing emerging talent.
Susan Baisden, the gallery director, opened the business in 2000. She has twenty years of experience in art sales and is a firm believer in the value of art for the community. She thinks that art is a catalyst for creativity in all aspects of life and that it should be nurtured. Her goals include bringing quality art into the lives of gallery visitors, helping make creating art a viable career for talented artists and supporting the growing cultural community of Tampa. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for art with gallery visitors and strives to provide collectors with unique, high-quality works paired with exceptional service, including in-home art consultations, art available on approval, and free local delivery.
