About Us :
Central Park Gallery was established in 2001 by Jerry and Marilyn Swendsen to provide an appropriate space to experience the work of artists who have sought their inspiration from the hills of rural Pennsylvania. The gallery is housed on the first floor of the Swendsen Engineering building centered on Central Park facing the fountain and the courthouse. The building dates from the Civil War. Originally a stately residence, the marble fireplaces, expansive chestnut trim, and full height french doors make a complimentary environment for a fine art exhibition
