Chapman Gallery, located in beautiful Carmel-By-The-Sea, is a highly original fine arts gallery representing a number of outstanding California artists ranging from the Early California painters of the 20s and 30s to the new millennium.
We have many years experience in all aspects of the fine arts and additional services that are offered include museum quality custom framing, art conservation, and art restoration.
Another unique feature offered is the exceptional portraits of renowned painter Gail Hodin-Reeves. A revolving exhibit of examples of her work is on display and if you are lucky you may be here on one of the weekends when she paints in the Gallery.
The Chapman Gallery Bookshop is the only locale for used books in Carmel at the present time. It is a comfortable place to visit, with an eclectic collection of art books and a wide variety of other subjects as well.
The Gallery is located in downtown Carmel on 7th Avenue between the Tiger Lily Florist and the Bank of America. It is just one block from Ocean Avenue, but still “a bit off the beaten path.” It is well worth the effort to find us, as Chapman Gallery has been called by one reviewer, “One of the hidden treasures of Carmel.”
