About Us
Welcome to the Covered Bridge Art Gallery. This was once a department store and was built in 1877. The gallery is located on the north side of the square in Rockville, Indiana.
Approximately 30 local artists hang in the gallery, and many have individual booths. They work in a variety of media: collage, watercolor, oil, wood veneer, pastel, pen and ink, colored pencil, acrylic, pottery, wood, and jewelry.
The 32 covered bridges of Parke County are often highlighted as subjects of paintings. The gallery also sells note cards, calendars featuring the works of the local artists, prints, copies of original works, mini-paintings, and other artistic gift items.
