About Us:
Established in 1963 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gomez Mulet Gallery (formerly La Boheme Fine Art Gallery) has for over forty years specialized in offering fine art by Latin American artists. In 1981, the gallery closed its Argentinean doors and reopened in Coral Gables, Miami in 1981, continuing in its previous line of representation with a new focus on Latin American contemporary art.
In June of 2002, the ownership of the gallery changed hands and with a renewed injection of energy, Gomez Mulet Gallery charged ahead under the direction of a vivacious team including Director James Blanchard Cisneros of the Cisneros Capital Group, Curator and President Ernesto Gonzalez, Juan Antonio Gomez, Journalist, Graphic Designer and Artist and Patrick Boulton, Chief Operations Officer.
Tenaciously dedicated to the promotion of Latin American fine art, the gallery showcases contemporary works by leading artists of Latin America such as Tito, Alexis Lago, Andres Lacau, Ileana Mulet, Maria Sanchez, Ruben Berland, Ulises Gonzalez, Uribazo and Vicente Dopico Lerner from Cuba, Alberto Pancorbo from Spain, Fernando Davila and Guillermo Spinosa from Colombia, Jorge Segui from Argentina, to name a few. The Gallery recently made an exception to its rule of representing only Latin American and Cuban artists and proudly accepted into its family of artists the world famous, multi-media North American artist, Kenneth Treister.
Gomez Mulet Gallery has become a must for serious collectors of Latin American and Cuban fine art, as well as a first stop for new collectors. Famed for its good taste and expertise, knowledgeable and friendly staff, the gallery is also well known for its inviting atmosphere and unpretentious disposition.
