Krista Hyer founded the shop currently known as ML Framing in December 2003 under the name Classic Design Framing (the CDF Gallery). Believing she had gotten as far as she could in the picture framing industry working for others, she opened her own gallery to give herself the freedom to make her mark in framing. In 2007, she renamed the gallery Mona Lisa, and in 2012, Krista arrived at the gallery’s current name - ML Framing and moved to her current location in 2013.
Krista aims to bridge the gap between seasoned, knowledgeable art lovers and those who are venturing into the creative process for the first time, and makes ML Framing a personalized experience for every customer. She puts customers at ease in the shop’s intimate but casual setting where more than 3600 custom frames from all over the world are on display.
ML Framing is truly a one-stop-shop, with everything provided in-house from design consultation, to photography, digital printing and customized framing.
