Established in 1967, Owl 57 galleries begins its fifth decade as a Long Island based gallery with an international reputation.
Owl 57 is a showcase for unique works by contemporary artists working in a variety of disciplines and media. Over 50 artists are represented in the Gallery with works ranging from photo realistic paintings to blown glass sculpture.
Owl 57 is proud of its long relationships with acclaimed artists such as Arthur Secunda, Athos Zacharias, Edward Sokol, Michael Knigin, Gregory Hengesbaugh and Linda Arnold whose works are represented in major museum and private collections. We are equally committed to furthering the careers of our emerging artists.
Over the years, Owl 57 has exhibited at international art fairs, curated museum shows, and established relationships with trade professionals throughout the world. These activities have brought greater exposure to our artists and new opportunities to our collectors.
Owl 57 is a second generation family business. Our founder, Eileen Michel remains active in the business while her son, Craig "Ric" Michel, has served as Gallery Director for the past twenty years.
