Explore the villages and market places of the far corners of the world for folk art with the FolkArt Gallery. Our collection of folk art includes African tribal masks, ceremonial and ritual artifacts, baskets, textiles, containers and other objects of daily life from around the world. There are captivating retablos from Peru, and whimsical woodcarvings from Mexico. The jewelry cases are brimming with old silver and semiprecious jewels and custom designed adornments with components from every continent on earth as well as art-to-wear jewelry and folk art of contemporary North American craftspeople.

Whether it is a graceful ceramic pot made high in the mountains of Peru, a rich and vibrant kilim uncovered deep in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, or a crudely hammered prayer box from Northern Africa, folk arts and crafts offer a window into the lives, spirits, and souls of the people who create them.
Sharing this common ground of beauty, art, and celebration in folk art allows us to learn more about other peoples, and in some way, more about ourselves.

Our goal is to bring you these treasures, lovingly hand-crafted by artisans around the world and to create a bridge to other cultures, traditions, and ways of life through their folk art.
