Established in 1996, Weinstein Gallery has exhibited work by outstanding nationally and internationally recognized artists working in all media, with a special focus on modern and contemporary photography. The gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America and the Association of International Photography Art Dealers.
The gallery has curated special exhibitions such as Chuck Close: Self-Portraits which showcased his self-portraits created in all print media; Man Ray: Prints and Objects, the first Man Ray exhibit in the Upper Midwest; Two Women, an exhibition focusing on photographic portraits of women by 30 international artists; The Pyramids: 150 Years of Photographic Fascination; and The Rite of Assembly, a unique historical analysis of the genre of group photography. The gallery has also presented retrospective exhibitions of influential photographers such as August Sander, Andre Kertesz, Mario Giacomelli, Manuel Alvarez Bravo and Robert Mapplethorpe. Weinstein Gallery has placed its represented artists' work in major private collections and museums throughout the country.
